Matthew Jones
Matthew is a strategic consultant, commercial advisor, leadership mentor, facilitator, speaker and non-executive chair who brings over 30 years’ business experience including in global leadership.
Matthew’s work includes advising boards, senior leadership teams and group leaders on a variety of enterprise-level projects and initiatives, including strategy development and implementation, leadership, change, collaboration, client-centric thinking and organic and inorganic growth.
He is former CEO of the UK, Middle East and Africa Region, and former global board and global management committee member, of the world’s largest law firm and has deep expertise in professional services. Before becoming a full-time leader, Matthew was a practising solicitor for more than 20 years.
Matthew is a Fellow in Professional Services Leadership and Strategy at Cambridge Judge Business School. He has also spoken on the Professional Services: Next Generation Leadership Programme, and collaborated on research at London Business School. Matthew is also Chair of Fair Finance, an award-winning community finance organisation in the social lending/micro-finance sector that is regulated by the FCA.
